I would like to take this time to welcome you to our webpage and tell you a little bit about the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program.
For one semester
each school year, the fifth graders in Jonesboro participate in the
D.A.R.E.
program. D.A.R.E.
goes beyond traditional drug abuse and
violence prevention programs. It is a police officer-led series of classroom
lessons that teach children how to resist peer pressure and live productive
drug-and-violence-free lives.
